Shot Blasting

Obtained by the continuous blasts of metallic grains of different sizes which corrode the surface of the stone, resulting in its irregularity. When treated in this way, stone also becomes anti-slip, which renders it suitable for surfaces meant for walking on, such as swimming pool floors, shower plates, etc… It is a process most commonly used on slabs of granite.
