Sardinian Granite

SARDINIAN GRANITE

Granite is an intrusive lava rock, formed over extended periods of time, and at great depths, of which the structure is made up of an agglomerate of crystalline particles resulting from a chemical reaction of the magma. In Sardinia, Granite is part of the land creating, alongside other rocks from the Gallura Region and the majestic monuments created over time, an imposing and suggestive presence. Sardinian Granite is one of the most resistant, compact and long lasting amongst all types of Granite extracted in the world. This means it is particularly suited to claddings of great works of art. The Company uses Sardinian Granite in many different shades, from gray to yellow to green, in external and internal claddings, alongside Sardinian Basalt and Marble from Orosei.
